Captain
Scott Roe, moved to Port Charlotte in the early
1980’s. As a youngster, Scott often fished. His love of fishing
gave him the desire to covert his hobby into a full time career, so every
angler he fishes, can also reap the pleasures of light tackle backcountry &
flats fishing.
He has been a Charlotte Harbor Charter Captain for
over eight years.
He uses live
and artificial bait on his charters. He is professional, personable
and a great teacher, enabling him to work well with anglers of all ages and
skill levels.
From hunting
Giant Tarpon in the depths of Boca Grande Pass to sight casting to tailing
Redfish in 8" of water, Capt. Scott will insure you have a most memorable
day, fishing on the beautiful estuary system of Charlotte Harbor.
Coverage Area:
Capt.
Scott can accommodate "On
the water" pick-ups & drop offs in areas, which include; Punta Gorda, Port Charlotte, Boca Grande, Gasparilla, Bokeelia, Pine Island, Burnt Store, Cayo
Costa, Sanibel, Captiva, Palm Island and many of the out islands.
Species Targeted:
Capt. Scott can consistently
target any species of game fish that patrol the inshore and near shore
waters of the Southwest Florida Coast, to include Giant Tarpon, Snook,
Redfish, Trout, Shark, Mackerel, Cobia, Snapper, Goliath Grouper (a.k.a.,
Jewfish) and Jack Crevalle.

Boat:
Capt.
Scott's 18ft. Flats
Skiff is manufactured by Maverick Hewes and is powered by a 135hp
Yamaha engine. Capt. Scott's boat is equipped with a Fish
Finder, GPS, VHF Radio and Cellular Telephone.
Rates are for two anglers.
Please add $50 for each
additional angler to a maximum of three. Kids under 12 only have
to pay an additional $25.
Rates include all live,
dead & artificial bait, tackle, fishing licenses, ice and fish cleaning &
bagging. Our Professional and friendly attitude is free of charge.
Capt. Scott
charges $50 to pickup on Captiva, North Captiva, Useppa, Cayo Costa, Cabbage
Key, Gasparilla, Little Gasparilla and Palm Island.
