March is the starting month for Cobia to come ashore and fill Charlotte Harbor! this 33" beauty was cruising the area sandbars looking for it's next meal!

Jeff, Mike & Kim Huxford from Owatonna, MN visited beautiful Charlotte Harbor for two full days of fishing guided by Capt. Derrick Jacobsen. "We lost count of the Snook, Reds & Trout that we caught during our two trips, but we know there was over 100+ landed, which added to countless Florida Slams"!! Brian Krutsinger from Illinois caught his first "Florida Slam" using artificial baits only while fishing Gasparilla sound with Capt. Derrick Jacobsen He landed several Snook, Trout & Redfish for an exciting day of lure fishing!!!
Day 1 Hunter Cornell & Bill Reed brought a few friends back to Florida to fish with us during the start of Spring! With 2 boats and plenty of bait they caught over 30 Snook, & 8 Redfish while fishing the beautiful backcountry of Charlotte Harbor with Capts; Derrick Jacobsen & Brian Hart!!!
Day 2 Hunter, Rodney, Bill Reed & the gang spent another "CATCHING" day with Capt. Derrick Jacobsen & Capt. Brian Hart. They battled and landed some 40+ Snook and 12 Redfish. After having such and awesome Total Fishing Adventure they decided to return for two more days in May to experience a "Total Tarpon Fishing Adventure" which is one of a couple prime Tarpon fishing months throughout the year!!!...WOW
Sandy Brayman was very pleased with her results after booking with Florida Light Tackle Charters, guided by Capt. Darryn McGowan on the beautiful flats of Englewood, FL. Sandy had several awesome light tackle battles with these "BRUTE" Snook & Reds!!

Day 1 Despite a cold front moving in the day before our trip, Father & Son team, Jeff & Cory Ferrington battled multiple Snook & Redfish while fishing Charlotte Harbor with Capt. Derrick Jacobsen "Fun! Fun! Fun!"
Day 2 Solid sunshine began raising water temps which made the Snook, Reds and Trout start raising their eyebrows with a vengeance at the baitfish we offered them:) Jeff & Cory Ferington had another day of "Catching" while fishing the backcountry waters of Placida with Capt. Derrick Jacobsen
Brad Hayes & his son, Jackson with a double hookup had a fun day of fishing with Capt. Jimmy Willis, they landed multiple Snook, Trout & some of those extreme drag peeling Jack Crevalle rounding out a "Total Fishing Adventure" in the backcountry of Charlotte Harbor waters!!
Jon Wilt & his Dad Stan came back for another round of "Catching" with Florida Light Tackle Charters. They landed plenty of Snook & Trout while guided by Capt. Brian Hart in Charlotte Harbor, FL
Expert Fly Angler, Rich Furman spent a couple of days in beautiful Pine Island Sound with Capt. Scott Roe and temped these awesome Redfish & other gamefish into taking a fly!!
It didn't take this mathematics teacher Gerry Quickel & his wife Debbie from Odenton, MD long to calculate 10 Nice Snook + 4 Big Snook = an "Awesome Day of Fishin" guided by Capt. Derrick Jacobsen
