Capt. Derrick Jacobsen & Bobby Jones take 1st Place at the "Richest Redfish Challenge" in beautiful Charlotte Harbor with the two redfish combined weight of 15.30 lbs & take home the $25,000 Grand Prize!!! (Way to Go Guys!!)

in a couple of beautiful Charlotte Harbor Redfish that totaled 14.60 lbs!
Unfortunately for them both Redfish died on the way to the scales
which caused them a 2-lb penalty and put the team just ounces out of the
money! (By the way, this is Capt. Derricks Dad & it looks like Derrick
paid close attention to his Dads fishing tips & techniques, maybe too close
for Dads sake!!) (he he he;)!!
Mike Hodge and his good buddy went on a "Total Fishing Adventure" with Capt. Derrick Jacobsen in Beautiful Charlotte Harbor! They had an awesome time battling over a dozen "Tournament Winning Redfish" and a few Snook to boot! Mike Hodge exclaimed; "Charlotte Harbor is definitely the place to visit if you love "Catching" some incredible game fish species like these"
Day 1 Michel & Debbie Dervaes traveled from Riverview, FL to go on a 2-day "Total Fishing Adventure" with Capt. Derrick Jacobsen in beautiful Pine Island Sound! The first day consisted of 15+ beautiful upper slot Redfish with a couple of doubles to the boat!!
Day 2 Michel & Debbie Dervaes battled & caught an awesome variety of tasty game fish that included; 5-Redfish, 4-big Trout, 8-Mangrove Snapper, 2-slot Gag Grouper all on the flats, (this Gag pictured is 25inches, WOW!) I have to say Debbie tried hard to land a nice Snook but he jumped off the line at boat side!! They enjoyed the hospitality that our beautiful grass flats offered up to them during their 2-day fishing adventure with Capt. Derrick Jacobsen.
Capt. Derrick Jacobsen took his good friend Capt. Dan Cambern (whom is also a Florida Light Tackle Offshore Pro-Staff Captain) out on the flats to help with a little pre-fishing for a tournament Capt. Derrick is fishing soon! We had a very successful day on the water battling over 15 Redfish to check their length & weight for the upcoming tournament, as you can see they definitely are "Upper & a little over Slot"!!!
Dave Hiller (1st pictured) & Jack Arata had an awesome 2-days of fishing beautiful Charlotte Harbor with Captains Derrick Jacobsen & Jarrett Lombard. Day 1 yielded some 70+ Redfish with a few Snook to boot! Day 2 they battled several big Snook up to 12 lbs & Dave Hiller landed this unbelievable "VERY RARE" 95-spot Redfish that was released shortly after being caught, the side pictured has 48 individual spots alone!! WOW!
