| With summer over and kids back in school, the Charlotte Harbor area is quite barren. Little do many know however, September is the start of a transition period for many species of game fish. Snook begin to move back into the back country, Redfish begin to congregate in preparation for a spawn, Trout become more active and Tarpon begin their trek into the rivers. All through this...these fish feed and feed heavily. September through October offers some of the best fishing in Charlotte Harbor and are the two top months to attempt to land a Grand Slam (Tarpon, Snook, Redfish & Trout) |
