March Madness 2007

"MARCH MADNESS" is the starting month for baitfish pods to flood the grass-flats & following closely behind them are the big schools of "Game-Fish"! Great fun for adrenaline junkies while visiting "Beautiful Charlotte Harbor" using light tackle! Schools of Bull-Redfish ranging 5-25lb, Snook averaging 2-20lbs, Speckled Sea Trout, Jack Crevalle 2-20lb & Juvenile Tarpon 10-40lbs makes up just some of our "March Madness Angling Adventures"!!!

"RETURN CLIENTS" Mike Ferraro & Eric Dolman keep coming back for more of "Charlotte Harbors" awesome game-fish action w/Capt. Derrick Jacobsen! Pictured above are just a few of the Redfish & Snook they battled which keep them returning again & again!! "AWESOME ANGLING ADVENTURE"!!

"FATHER & SON FISHING" Gary Gniffke & his Son had a great day of March fishing with Florida Light Tackle Charters! Their combined catch consisted of numerous, Snook, Trout, & Jack Crevalle which completes an awesome Father & Son day of "Catching"!!!

John Shea & his fishin buddy, Mary Beurkle (Babe) return again this year for more of "Charlotte Harbors" plentiful Snook action! They won the battle with numerous Snook & Jack Crevalle while fishing "Structure" in the area's endless canal & river systems!

"RETURNING WINTER RESIDENTS" & good friends; Bob, Arden, & Ron Curtis continue returning with Florida Light Tackle Charters to experience our unbelievable; "Guaranteed *NO FISH, NO PAY* Policy" to battle plenty of Snook every time their aboard w/Capt. 4yr old Dalton Jacobsen & his cousin 6yr old Angel had a blast showing off Dads (Capt. Derrick Jacobsen) 13 pound Snook!

There's Dalton again except with his sister Kaci showing off a hefty 11 pound Snook he help catch while fishing w/Dad, Capt. Derrick Jacobsen!

"Local Resident" Brian Perry had a blast "Catchin Snook" during the month of March! He said he wanted to experience some "World Class Snook Fishing" that he's read about! Brian got his chance & landed several "Trophy Snook" fishing in "Beautiful Charlotte Harbor" guided by Capt. Derrick Jacobsen! "Awesome Snookin Adventure"

Frank Cardillo enjoyed backcountry fishin for Snook & Reds while vacationing in "Charlotte Harbor", from Niagara Falls!!

Florida Light Tackle V.P., Christy Jacobsen & 4yr old Son, Dalton also enjoyed a day of "Catchin Fun" while fishing w/Dad, Capt. Derrick Jacobsen in "Charlotte Harbor!

He shares plenty of angling excitement w/family & friends, Ralf Huxford, Mike Hintz & Paul Hobday! Their two boat adventure lands them battling, Snook, Redfish, Trout & juvenile Tarpon for an excellent day of "catching fun" guided by father & son team, Capt. Bobby Bunkley & Capt. Derrick Jacobsen! "MARCH SNOOKIN! Tim Kaster visits from Ontario Canada to experience some of "Charlotte Harbor's" unmatched Snook action w/Capt. Derrick Jacobsen! Along with battling "Trophy Snook", Tim enjoyed some Redfish & Trout action earning him a "Florida Slam"!! "WAY TO GO TIM"!!!

When Merle Caswell takes his grandson, Nick fishing, they always have a blast battling plenty of Snook & Jack Crevalle w/Capt. Derrick! There's always plenty of family fun & laughter aboard a Florida Light Tackle Charter! (like Merle kissing a Jack!:)

"AWESOME SNOOKIN" Chris Webber got exactly what he came to "Charlotte Harbor" for, "Big Snook Action"! He lost count after 20 something, but will always remember where to come when he wants to battle some "Awesome Snook" w/Capt. Derrick Jacobsen! (also pictured is a 32" Snook that naturally tried swallowing a big Sand bream, the Snook floated shortly after he died & drifted by us!)
